Yes! Hand wash with warm, soapy water before you start drinking from it.
No, flo bottles are not dishwasher safe! The extreme temperatures and aggressive environment can cause paint to chip and the vacuum seal to become ineffective. They do like a regular rinse or nice hand wash in warm soapy water though. Please consult care instructions for further information as any deformation or defect resulting from washing your flo bottle in the dishwasher will void the warranty.
No. All flo products are made of stainless steel and are not safe to put in the microwave. It could also damage the bottle’s vacuum insulation.
There’s no need to put your flo in the fridge! Our bottles are designed with double-wall vacuum insulation. This technology means that your bottle is not affected by the outside temperature so the fridge will not be able to cool the liquid inside.
If you want to keep your drinks cold for as long as possible, we recommend chilling them beforehand and filling your bottle with ice cubes.
No. Freezing temperatures can damage the insulation properties of your insulated flo (and if sealed, the double-vacuum insulation technology will prevent the inside from becoming cold anyway). It has also been known to crack the bottle and break the vacuum seal if left in the freezer.
To carry the coolest of contents in your bottle, simply use very cold water from the fridge or tap and fill with ice and enjoy.
Prepare for take off! Your flo bottle is airport security friendly, as long as you remember to empty out what’s inside first. Be careful when opening during flight travel due to pressure changes in airplane cabin though.
